Saudi Arabia and Canada Restore Diplomatic Relations After Year-Long Rift
Saudi Arabia has restored diplomatic relations with Canada, ending a year-long rift that began in 2018 over allegations of interference in the Kingdom's internal affairs.
The decision was made after a meeting between Saudi Crown Prince Mohammed bin Salman and Canadian Prime Minister Justin Trudeau at the Asia-Pacific Economic Cooperation Forum in Bangkok.
Both countries aim to restore relations based on mutual respect and common interests.
