On Wednesday, Saudi Arabia announced several royal decrees: Prince Abdulaziz bin Mohammed was appointed as a special adviser to King Salman with the rank of minister, and will also carry out the duties of the deputy minister of the National Guard.
Abdul Mohsen bin Abdulaziz Al-Tuwaijri was removed as deputy minister of the National Guard and named an adviser to the Royal Court with minister rank.
Khalid bin Mohammed bin Abdulaziz Al-Abdulkarim became the secretary-general of the Council of Ministers with minister rank.
Mazen bin Turki bin Abdullah Al-Sudairi was appointed as an adviser to the General Secretariat of the Council of Ministers.
Lastly, Sami bin Abdullah Muqeem was named vice president of the Saudi Authority for Data and Artificial Intelligence.
Several appointments and reliefs were made in the Saudi Arabian government.
Al-Rabdi was appointed as head of the National Data Management Office.
Abdulmohsen Al-Khalaf became deputy minister of finance.
Abdulaziz Al-Dahim was appointed assistant minister of commerce.
Al-Ahmari was named assistant minister for planning and development at the Ministry of Industry and Mineral Resources.
Anas Al-Sulai was appointed assistant minister of tourism.
Shihana Alazzaz was relieved of her position as deputy secretary-general of the Council of Ministers and was appointed as adviser to the Royal Court and chair of the board of directors at the Saudi Authority for Intellectual Property, all by order of Crown Prince Mohammed bin Salman.
