Saudi Arabia launches 'Saif Al-Salam 12' field maneuvers in northern region
Saudi Arabia has initiated its "Saif Al-Salam 12" military drills in the country's north, involving a significant partnership between its armed forces, the Interior Ministry, National Guard, and State Security Presidency.
Spokesperson Ali Al-Ali explains that the exercises cover comprehensive military tactics.
The drills will involve various operations such as air attacks, air defense, strategic raids, and air intercept missions, with a focus on neutralizing air threats, applying military warfare techniques, and securing buildings and strategic locations.
Expanding into the Arabian Gulf and Red Sea, trainings aim to counter aerial drones, rigged boats, and naval mines. They will also work on shielding vital infrastructure and conducting search and rescue operations.
Al-Ali highlighted the goal of increasing the readiness of the forces through these exercises, which feature joint operational scenarios, high-level training, and the use of modern weaponry to strengthen Saudi military and security capabilities.
