A Wall Street Journal poll conducted in seven crucial battleground states reveals that former President
Donald Trump has a significant lead over Vice President Kamala Harris in handling international conflicts, specifically the wars in Ukraine and the Middle East.
The survey, which included 600 registered voters per state from September 28 to October 8, with a margin of error of four percentage points, indicates that Trump leads Harris 50% to 39% on managing the Ukraine conflict and 48% to 33% on the Israeli-Hamas war.
While Harris and Trump are tied overall in these states, Harris holds slight leads in Arizona, Georgia, and Michigan, whereas Trump leads in Nevada and Pennsylvania.
Both candidates remain tied in North Carolina and Wisconsin.
The poll emphasizes the significance of swing states in the upcoming November 5 election, with Harris potentially securing a narrow Electoral College victory if she wins the states where she currently leads.
Another poll by Reuters/Ipsos reflects a similarly close race nationally with Harris slightly ahead 46% to 43%.
