Rofaida, Houston Methodist renew MoU to advance women’s health awareness

Rofaida Women’s Health Organization and Houston Methodist Global Health Care Services renewed their three-year memorandum of understanding to provide women in Saudi Arabia with access to important information when making key decisions about their health.
The renewal ceremony was attended by Princess Moudi Bint Khalid and Cathy Easter, president and CEO of Houston Methodist Global Health Care Services.

The agreement will focus on developing strategic partnerships between Rofaida and Houston Methodist in efforts to raise awareness campaigns on women's health issues, online education, participation in specialized social and scientific events and activities, as well as providing scientific expertise for the association's conferences and workshops.

“Rofaida is pleased to renew this agreement with Houston Methodist Global. Through our continued partnership, we will provide quality programs to promote women's health in the Kingdom, through programs carefully designed to suit the culture of our society and the diversity of its social environments, while ensuring their reach to all segments of the society,” said Rofaida Women’s Health Organization Board of Directors President Princess Moudi.

“Houston Methodist is honored to renew this collaboration and support Rofaida’s transformational efforts to empower women in the Kingdom to make informed health care decisions. Since 2020, we’ve worked collaboratively to further Rofaida’s awareness programs through Houston Methodist’s educational content and events, and we look forward to strengthening this partnership,” said Easter.

Rofaida Women’s Health Organization is a civil society association registered with the Ministry of Human Resources and Social Development and focuses on education, empowerment and training in women's health in general and holds many activities and events in this field.
