Riyadh Region Schools Suspend In-Person Classes Due to Rainy Weather, Switch to Remote Learning
On Wednesday, the Riyadh Region Education Department announced the suspension of in-person classes in all schools within the region.
This decision was made in response to reports from the National Center of Meteorology regarding the unfavorable weather conditions, as well as a commitment to ensuring the safety of students, teachers, and administrative staff.
During the suspension of in-person classes, students will continue their learning through remote instruction provided by the Madrasati and Rawdhati platforms, as well as any other approved educational platforms for both boys and girls.
The suspension applies to all teachers and administrative staff working under the Education Department in the Riyadh region as well.
The Education Department made this announcement through a statement published on its X social media platform.
