Passengers flying with Riyadh Air will benefit from improved cross-border payment experiences due to a recent partnership with CellPoint Digital.

The collaboration will see Riyadh Air utilizing CellPoint Digital’s Payment Orchestration platform, supporting its digital-first business strategy as it gears up for commercial operations in 2025.

Adam Boukadida, Riyadh Air's CFO, emphasized the need for a knowledgeable payments partner to offer a seamless digital experience.

This partnership will help Riyadh Air connect to over 100 destinations by 2030, contributing to its ambition to become the world's most forward-thinking airline.

Kristian Gjerding, CEO of CellPoint Digital, added that their technology will allow Riyadh Air to offer preferred payment options, enhancing cash flow control.

Based at King Khalid International Airport, Riyadh Air is set to become a key player in Saudi Arabia’s aviation sector, aiming to transform the country into a global aviation hub with a $30 billion investment.
