Red Sea International Airport (RSI) in Saudi Arabia Expands Operations with First International Flights and Goal to Serve 1 Million Guests Annually
Red Sea International Airport (RSI) in Saudi Arabia has started its first international flights with flydubai, marking a twice-weekly connection from Dubai.
Domestic flights by Saudia have been running since September 2023.
With this addition, RSI now offers eight regular flights per week, increasing connectivity for residents in the Red Sea regions.
The airport aims to serve 1 million guests annually and is conveniently located within three hours of 250 million people.
John Pagano, group CEO at Red Sea Global, expressed excitement about reaching this goal and contributing to making Saudi Arabia a top global tourism destination.
RSI, a Red Sea airline, is eagerly anticipating the resumption of international travel and welcoming visitors from the UAE and the Middle East, as well as beyond.
According to Michael White, RSI's chief commercial officer, this next phase in the airline's development follows its first domestic flights in September 2020.
The airline is dedicated to delivering exceptional services to passengers and airlines and plans to expand its network to serve the Red Sea and travelers worldwide.
RSI sees the arrival of international travelers as an essential aspect of providing connectivity for its employees, partners, and the local community.
