Ramadan Nights 2023 begins at Expo Center Sharjah, with more than 170 exhibitors

Featuring more than 10,000 products from 500 brands and 170 exhibitors, including many major retailers, Ramadan Nights 2023 has begun at the Expo Center Sharjah.
This year’s event, its 40th, offers an exciting array of entertainment, unique heritage activities and surprises for shoppers, the Emirates News Agency reported on Thursday. Visitors can take advantage of discounts up to 75 percent, enjoy special promotions and win valuable prizes, it added.

The event, which continues until April 21, is organized by the expo center and Sharjah Chamber of Commerce and Industry. It was inaugurated by Abdullah Sultan Al-Owais, the chairman of the expo center and the chamber, and Salem Ali Al-Muhairi, chairman of Sharjah Municipal Council, who then toured the exhibition, met exhibitors and learned about some of the products on offer.

They also attended a number of heritage events and artistic performances at the event’s Heritage Village, and were shown exhibits presented by family businesses showcasing traditional products such as clothes, tools, handicrafts, incense, drinks and popular Ramadan food.

Al-Owais said Ramadan Nights is a significant initiative and forms part of the 33rd edition of the Sharjah Ramadan Festival organized by the local Chamber of Commerce and Industry.

The expo center’s CEO, Saif Mohamed Al-Midfa, said that Ramadan Nights is an annual event that is constantly evolving with the aim of offering unparalleled shopping and entertainment experiences to residents of and visitors to Sharjah.

Organizers reported a remarkable turnout of visitors on Wednesday, the opening day of the event, with the Heritage Village proving a particular highlight for many. Ramadan Nights is open from 5:00 p.m. to 1:00 a.m. during Ramadan, and from 3:00 p.m. to midnight during Eid Al-Fitr.
