We agree Ms. Nina Jankowicz’s qualifications and personal talents are first class. Knowledge, experience, education and her cool personality.

However we believe that this Soviet-style 'ministry of truth', regardless of who is at the top, should never exist in a democracy.

Misinformation is much less dangerous than censorship, tyranny and biased/uninformed citizens. Today it is run by Democrats, tomorrow it will be run by Republicans. The next day it will be run by an American version of Joseph Goebbels.

Yesterday, we criticised China and Russia for doing just the same, today this ministry of truth danger is even worse.

The road to hell is paved with good intentions.

The only solution against misinformation is ensuring that there more higher quality and less-biased free information. More freedom of speech not less, more educated citizens not fewer, more facts and less biased opinions, a more inclusive society, unlimited diverse ideas marketplace, instead of a cancel-culture against anybody who dares to think different or outside the box.

I am sure that Nina Jankowicz understands perfectly what I am talking about. If she honest she would kindly reject this job regardless how hungry she is.  

I am not sure that anybody who created this Romanian-Securitate and Soviet-KGB  and German-Stasi style units understand what it means to democracy, to social order, and to the future of the USA.
