Minister of Foreign Affairs Prince Faisal Bin Farhan Bin Abdullah participated in the second session of the G20 foreign ministers' meeting in New Delhi.
During the session, which focused on counterterrorism, global skill mapping and talent pool, and humanitarian assistance and disaster relief, Prince Faisal delivered a speech highlighting the Kingdom's pioneering initiatives.

He emphasized the establishment of the Global Center for Combating Extremist Ideology (Etidal) and partnerships with other countries to improve information exchange related to counterterrorism activities.

Prince Faisal also emphasized the Kingdom's membership in the Financial Action Task Force (FATF) to combat money laundering and financing of terrorism and limit its spread, as well as the Kingdom's membership in the Global Coalition to Defeat Daesh.

He stated that combating terrorism requires dealing with cybercrime through international cooperation and effective legislation.

He added that the Kingdom has adopted many local initiatives within the framework of the National Cybersecurity Authority (NCA), including protecting children in cyberspace and empowering women in the field of cybersecurity.

Regarding the issue of mapping skills and enhancing the pool of talents, Prince Faisal reiterated the Kingdom's commitment to implementing reforms that harness young talents while meeting the evolving labor market's needs.

He highlighted the national program for developing human resources launched as part of the Kingdom Vision 2030, which seeks to make citizens well-equipped to deal with future challenges.

Prince Faisal also emphasized the Kingdom's leadership in providing humanitarian and development aid worldwide, citing the Kingdom's rapid response to the recent earthquake in Syria and Turkiye, the urgent humanitarian airlift, and the organization of a donation campaign to mitigate the earthquake's repercussions.

He added that the Kingdom recently hosted the 3rd Riyadh International Humanitarian Forum in cooperation with the United Nations, which discussed ways to enhance collective efforts in this vital sector, such as partnerships, assessments, localization, and achieving sustainable development goals.

The minister concluded his speech by stressing the importance of teamwork and developing appropriate early response plans using innovative solutions and modern technologies to ensure a safer and more prosperous world for humanity.
