Prince Abdulaziz highlights common security issues in GCC 39th meet
The Ministers of Interior of the Gulf Cooperation Council held their 39th meeting here Wednesday, under the chairmanship of Minister of Interior Prince Abdulaziz Bin Saud Bin Naif.
UAE’s Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Interior Sheikh Saif Bin Zayed Al Nahyan, Bahrain’s Minister of Interior Sheikh Rashid Bin Abdullah Al Khalifa and Omani Minister of Interior Sayyid Hamoud Bin Faisal Al Busaidi participated.
Also attending were Kuwaiti First Deputy Prime Minister, Minister of Interior Sheikh Talal Khaled Al Ahmad Al Sabah, Qatari Undersecretary of the Ministry of Interior Sheikh Abdulaziz Bin Faisal Bin Mohammad Al Thani, and GCC Secretary General Dr. Nayef Falah Mubarak Al-Hajraf.
Prince Abdulaziz delivered a speech in which he conveyed the greetings of Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques King Salman and Crown Prince and Prime Minister Mohammad Bin and their wishes for the meeting’s success.
The assembled officials discussed the agenda and common security issues, in addition to the reports on the joint tactical exercise of the security services in the GCC countries (Arab Gulf Security 3), organized by Ministry of Interior in Saudi Arabia (2022).
They also discussed the existing preparations for the upcoming exercise. (Arabian Gulf Security 4), which will be organized by the Ministry of Interior in Qatar (2023).
