PIF to launch new platform to share information about investment opportunities
The Public Investment Fund (PIF) will launch a new platform to share detailed information about the opportunities available to investors and suppliers from the private sector.
PIF Governor Yasir Al Rumayyan said in his opening remarks at the PIF Private Sector Forum on Tuesday that the fund is keen to enhance the role of the private sector.
“To support the Kingdom's prosperous economy, Crown Prince Mohammed Bin Salman pays great attention to the private sector and strengthening its role in developing the economy and achieving Vision 2030.”
He added: “Through its plan to develop 13 strategic sectors in the Kingdom, PIF is keen to involve the private sector as an investor, supplier, and partner in these sectors.”
The governor said the management focuses on defining the fund's strategic directions in economic development to measure the impact of its investments.
He pointed out that other programs and agreements designed for the private sector will be announced during the forum, which will contribute to facilitating communication and activation of partnerships effectively and sustainably.
