One million copies of Qur’an as King’s gifts for pilgrims

The Ministry of Islamic Affairs, Call and Guidance started on Monday distribution of a total of one million copies of the Holy Qur’an as a gift from Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques King Salman to the pilgrims who are departing via Jeddah’s King Abdulaziz International Airport and Islamic Sea Port and other land and air outlets.
The gifts will also be presented to the government personnel who participated in duty for this year’s Hajj.

In an announcement, the ministry said the gift, which comes in implementation of a royal order to continue taking care of serving Islam’s holy book, published by the Madinah-based King Fahd Qur’an Printing Complex in different sizes and translations in 76 international languages.
