New Nursery Centers Established at Makkah's Grand Mosque: A Safe and Educational Experience for 1,500 Young Visitors Daily
Two new nursery centers have been established in Makkah, Saudi Arabia, as part of the third expansion project of the Grand Mosque.
These centers were introduced in collaboration between the General Authority for the Affairs of the Grand Mosque and the Prophet’s Mosque, and various government agencies.
According to a report from the Saudi Press Agency, the centers are situated near Al-Haram Emergency Hospital and offer a secure environment for young visitors to the mosque.
With a combined capacity of approximately 1,500 children daily, the centers cater to girls aged between 1 and 10 years old, and boys from 1 to 8 years old.
The staff at the centers consists of childcare specialists who provide various amenities for the children.
These include meals, a dining area, an educational entertainment space with visual media, and interactive models showcasing the landmarks of the Two Holy Mosques and the rituals performed there.
Private sleeping rooms are also available for the children.
The nursery centers aim to provide a safe and enjoyable experience for young visitors to the Grand Mosque, allowing their parents to focus on their religious duties without worrying about the care of their children.
The collaboration between the General Authority and various government agencies reflects the commitment to enhancing the facilities and services offered at the Grand Mosque for all visitors.
