Ilmi, which means "my knowledge" in Arabic, is a subsidiary of the Mohammed bin Salman Foundation, Misk, and aims to empower young people in Saudi Arabia.

The program offers micro-credential and long-term courses, including micro-credentials, diplomas, minors, and electives, in museum studies.

Ilmi is a philanthropic NGO initiative created by Princess Sara bint Mashour bin Abdulaziz and is supported and funded by the Mohammed bin Salman Foundation.

The text is about a new program called ilmi, designed for high-school graduates, university undergraduates, and professionals looking to enter or advance in the museum industry.

The program, which is a collaboration between ilmi and PNU experts from Saudi Arabia and around the world, offers a mix of online and in-person learning with tuition available in both Arabic and English.

The program includes micro-credential courses, which are available to applicants over the age of 18, and cover topics such as museum impact studies, museum education, museum technologies, museum management, and integrating digital technology.

Additionally, PNU students can take an introduction to museums elective and specialized minors in museums and digital technology, exhibit design, and content development.

A two-year diploma in museum management is being offered at PNU starting in September 2024 for both current students and recent high school graduates.

Registration is open for the first online micro-credential course, "Fundamentals of museum management," which starts this month.

Additional micro-credential courses will be held in May and June.

Graduates of the program may have the opportunity to work with ilmi experts on informal learning programs across the Kingdom.
