NEOM Offers Over 1,500 Job Opportunities in Saudi Arabia's $500 Billion Giga-Project
NEOM, the $500 billion giga-project in Saudi Arabia, is offering over 1,500 job opportunities to qualified candidates from the region in more than 20 national and international companies participating in its second Partners Employment Forum.
The forum, which took place at the University of Tabuk, aims to attract top local talent to contribute to achieving sustainable growth in the Kingdom.
The Partners Employment Forum aligns with the objectives of Saudi Vision 2030's Human Capability Development Program, which is focused on developing citizens' capabilities, preparing them for the future, and supporting them in seizing opportunities.
The event provides job seekers with a chance to explore job openings across various industries, interact with companies, and submit applications.
In addition, consultation services are available to help with resume writing and interview performance.
NEOM has launched several social initiatives with a focus on education, engagement, and enablement, which have helped create hundreds of jobs, scholarships, training programs, and direct investments in a range of businesses.
This forum follows the successful completion of the first edition in May 2022, which was attended by 15 local and international companies and hosted over 3,500 students, graduates, and job seekers.
During the event, 1,344 submissions were made, and 1,067 job interviews were conducted, resulting in the employment of over 500 aspirants.
In March, NEOM was named the top company on Forbes' list of the top 10 economies of the future companies in Saudi Arabia.
NEOM was one of 40 firms selected by Forbes to highlight the Kingdom's most progressive companies.
The report noted that NEOM relies heavily on 5G hyperconnectivity, artificial intelligence and robotics, purpose-built data centers, big data analytics, and augmented virtual reality guided vehicles within its megaprojects: Trojena, Oxagon, and The Line.
It also mentioned that Saudi Crown Prince Mohammed bin Salman has invested $1 billion in AI, including a metaverse platform in 2022, through NEOM Tech & Digital Co.
