Minsa reiterates that it "never" gave permission for a concert-type activity

Minsa reiterates that it "never" gave permission for a concert-type activity

Dr. Israel Cedeño reported that the place where the accordionist Ulpiano Vergara would carry out the activity does not have a "Sanitary Operation Permit".
Dr. Israel Cedeño, director of the Metropolitan Health Region, reiterated that the place where the activity would take place to celebrate the birthday of the singer-songwriter and accordionist of typical music, Ulpiano Vergara “was never given permission for a concert-type activity.”

This, after the controversy over the suspension of the activity of the typical farmer, whose organizers assured that they had all the permits from the Ministry of Health (Minsa).

According to Cedeño, the document that circulates on social networks “of an alleged permit is not a permit, the photo that they published is the second page conveniently of the resolution to change the sanction, this is a place that before the event of Ulpiano, I already had him on sanction, in the closing process since on June 26 the health team went and found some breaches ”.

He argued that the place does not have a "Sanitary Operation Permit" and a closure measure had been imposed on it that was presented to it last week, but they requested that it be reconsidered, it was changed to a fine and "that they begin the process of obtaining of sanitary permit.”

Cedeño said that on June 30, the locals submitted a request for permission for this particular event, but they were never answered.

He clarified that the cancellation of the event "is nothing against Mechi Blanco, on the contrary I respect him a lot as an artist, it was against the situation and the event."

“Clearly, no matter how much they presented on paper what they had arranged and planned, in theory everything looked beautiful, but everything indicated that it was a type of concert since they asked for an activity of 800 people, Decree No. 590 of 29 April 2021 , it says live music activity is allowed in restaurants, restaurant bars or the like without dance activity and concert activities are not allowed in large areas,” said the Metropolitan Health Director.
