Members of Saudi-French Parliamentary Friendship Committee Explore Opportunities for Strengthened Cooperation
Members of the Saudi-French Parliamentary Friendship Committee convened in Riyadh to discuss increasing cooperation. Ayman bin Saleh Fadhel chaired the session with Amelia Lakrafi, head of France's equivalent committee.
The Saudi Press Agency noted the meeting’s focus on enhancing council-parliament collaboration across various sectors. Committee work was recognized as pivotal in supporting joint initiatives, and other mutual interests were explored.
Vice Minister Waleed El-Khuraiji also engaged in dialogues with the French delegation about deepening their nations' partnership. In a separate meeting, Vice Speaker Mishaal Al-Sulami and Lakrafi underscored the vital parliamentary ties between Riyadh and Paris.
Lakrafi expressed gratitude for the hospitality provided by the Kingdom and acknowledged the strong bilateral relationship. She also praised Saudi Arabia’s global influence and its commitment to representing the true principles of Islam.
