Coinciding with Philippines Independence Day on June 12, a grand retail festival of the best-loved Filipino brands of culinary products and specialty personal hygiene products was inaugurated under the banner of Pinoy Fiesta at the LuLu Hypermarket in Riyadh Avenue Mall by Philippines Ambassador Adnan Villaluna Alonto.
The Ambassador was welcomed by Shehim Mohammed, director of LuLu Group, Saudi Arabiam and senior officials of the Hypermarket management.

The festival will run till June 18 in all LuLu stores across KSA. Besides top Pinoy food brands like Mama Sita’s, there will be a wide range of the best quality agriculture produce and Filipino food products carefully curated for LuLu by the group’s own sourcing office in Calamba, Laguna, Philippines, which makes it possible for LuLu to sell the products at the most affordable prices.

“It gives our community in Saudi Arabia immense pleasure to share the amazing range of our food and special products especially since the LuLu Pinoy Fiesta coincides with Philippines Independence Day,” said Ambassador Alonto.

“The LuLu Group is one of the largest retail employers of Filipino nationals too and we are committed to working closely with the Group to enrich the sharing of skillsets and economic opportunities between the Philippines and the global LuLu community.”

Mohammed in his welcome address said that the group was able to bring the freshest and finest product range from the Philippines at attractive and affordable prices, thanks to the in-depth understanding of the strengths of the Philippines market by the Groups sourcing office.

“We wish all our Filipino nationals amongst our staff and the community in general, a very happy Independence Day,” Mohammed said, “We invite all communities to taste the exotic goodness of the culinary specialties of Philippines and explore the range of personal care and other products from the country as well,” Mohammed added.
