KSRelief efforts continue in earthquake-hit areas of Syria and Turkiye
The King Salman Humanitarian Aid and Relief Center’s (KSRelief ) air bridge is now in full swing for much-needed aid, including food, medical and shelter materials, for those affected by the earthquake in Turkiye and Syria.
In Jandris, a town in the north of Syria, KSRelief distributed urgent relief parcels to affected residents. The center also offered medical assistance to 1,051 individuals in Gaziantep, Turkiye.
On Tuesday, the eighth aid plane from the Kingdom landed at Syria’s Aleppo International Airport carrying food, medical and shelter supplies. The ninth relief aircraft meanwhile has taken off today, Wednesday, at King Khalid International Airport for Aleppo airport loaded with 35 tons of food, shelter and medical aid.
Over in Turkiye, another aircraft from the Kingdom touched down at Gaziantep Airport bringing medical supplies worth more than $9.6 million (SR36 million).
