In his cable, Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques said: "We have learned of the death of the former president of the Republic of Albania Bujar Nishani and as we send to your Excellency and to the brotherly people of the Republic of Albania and to the family of the deceased our deepest and most sincere condolences, we pray to Allah the Almighty to bestow His mercy on his soul, and that He protects you from any harm. We belong to Allah and to Him we shall return".

Crown Prince Mohammed Bin Salman deputy prime minister and minister of defense, too sent a cable of condolences to President Ilir Meta of the Republic of Albania, on the death of former President Bujar Nishani.

The Crown Prince said: "I received the news of the death of the former President of the Republic of Albania, Bujar Nishani, and I send to Your Excellency and the family of the deceased my deepest and sincere condolences, praying to Allah the Almighty to bestow His mercy on his soul, and protect you from any harm."
