Sheikh Khalid Visits Abu Dhabi International Book Fair
Sheikh Khalid bin Mohammed bin Zayed Al Nahyan, Crown Prince of Abu Dhabi and Chairman of the Executive Committee of the Emirate of Abu Dhabi, visited the Abu Dhabi International Book Fair.
The 32nd edition of the fair is organized by the Abu Dhabi Center for Arabic Language in collaboration with the Abu Dhabi Department of Culture and Tourism.
The fair aims to enrich the cultural landscape and promote collaboration and communication between Arab and international publishing houses.
Sheikh Khalid toured the fair and met with publishers, inspecting local, Arabic, and international publications.
Dr. Ahmad Mubarak Al Mazrouei, Mohammed Khalifa Al Mubarak, and Saud Abdulaziz Al Hosani were present during the visit.
The exhibition will take place at six cultural sites, including ADNEC, Cultural Foundation, Manarat Al Saadiyat, Sorbonne University, New York University Abu Dhabi, and LOGOS Hope ship.
This year's exhibition celebrates the concept of sustainability as the UAE has declared 2023 as the Year of Sustainability.
There are various initiatives, events, and seminars aimed at highlighting international best practices in support of sustainability in the publishing industry.
The exhibition has attracted a large number of exhibitors and publishers from over 85 countries.
