Jordan, Portugal discuss relations, regional developments
Jordan’s Foreign Minister Ayman Safadi and his Portuguese counterpart Joao Cravinho spoke over the phone on Thursday about bilateral relations, regional developments, and Israel’s occupation of Palestinian territories.
The ministers discussed plans to strengthen cooperation in the fields of the economy, defense, tourism, and culture, the Jordan News Agency reported.
Talks also focused on the current situation in Sudan and the evacuation of foreign nationals from the war-torn country. The ministers also urged the warring sides to arrange a cease-fire to “protect the Sudanese people.”
