Former President Biden recently underwent Mohs surgery to remove skin cancer from his forehead, marking the latest health challenge for the political figure.
Joe Biden, the former United States president, recently underwent a surgical procedure known as Mohs surgery to address skin cancer lesions on his forehead.
The news was confirmed by his spokesperson, Kelly Scully, following an observation by Inside Edition that captured Biden leaving a church in Delaware with a newly visible scar on his forehead.
The procedure involves the meticulous removal of affected layers of skin until no traces of cancer remain, ensuring a high success rate for complete eradication.
This marks the latest health concern for Biden, who previously dealt with personal and familial health challenges, including the loss of his son Beau to a brain tumor and his wife Jill's battles with cancer.
In 2023, during his tenure as president, Biden had a lesion extracted from his chest that was identified as basal cell carcinoma, one of the most common types of skin cancer.
Further to this, in May 2025, it was announced that Biden had been diagnosed with an aggressive form of prostate cancer which had metastasized to his bones.
In response to his diagnosis, Biden expressed a sentiment shared by many facing similar health challenges: "Cancer touches us all."
