Jawahir Al-Subaie joins Zamakhchary & Co. as Partner

Zamakhchary & Co. (Z&Co.), a prestigious leading law firm in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia, has announced the official appointment of Jawahir Al-Subaie as partner and head of the corporate and commercial law practice. With over a decade of experience in private practice and in-house, Al-Subaie brings a wealth of expertise and knowledge to the Z&Co. team.
Al-Subaie’s extensive experience includes advising government and private sector clients on project development, complex data and technology transactions and projects, and strategic partnerships across the Middle East, Asia, Europe, and the U.S.

Chariman of Z&Co., Monaji Zamakhchary, expressed his excitement over Al-Subaie’s addition to the team, stating, “We are excited to welcome Jawahir to the Z&Co. team. Her impressive track record and deep understanding of complex legal matters will be invaluable to our clients. Jawahir’s addition to our team further reinforces our position as the go-to law firm in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia”.

Al-Subaie began her legal career with an international law firm in London, qualifying as a Solicitor of the Senior Courts of England and Wales, and recently held significant roles including Legal Director (Acting Head of Legal) at NEOM Company, where she advised on large-scale, complex and innovative projects, such as ‘The Line’ (a revolution in urban living at NEOM), and General Counsel and Company Secretary at Jada (the PIF’s fund of funds). Al-Subaie’s experience gives her a unique perspective on the in-house function and enables her to provide clients with practical, strategic, comprehensive and commercially savvy advice.

Al-Subaie expressed her pleasure in joining Z&Co. as partner and head of the corporate and commercial law practice, saying, “I am delighted to be joining one of the most prominent law firms in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia. Z&Co. has a distinguished and diverse team of national and international experts who are committed to delivering the highest level of legal services to their clients. I am thrilled to have the opportunity to contribute to the firm’s continued success”.

Al-Subaie holds a BSc in Computer and Information Systems from King Faisal University and an MA in Law from Bristol University (where she was appointed the Editor-in-Chief of Dicta, Bristol University’s Law Magazine). Al-Subaie is also admitted as a Solicitor to the Roll of Solicitors in England & Wales.
