International Tourist Exhibition will Take Place in Nur-Sultan

Representatives of the global travel industry will gather in Kazakhstan. In September, the capital will host the international tourism exhibition, PATA Travel Mart 2019. The event will be held under the auspices of the Asia-Pacific Tourism Association.

The event will be held under the auspices of the Asia-Pacific Tourism Association and will be the first event of this kind in Central Asia. It is expected that more than 1,000 representatives of the tourism industry from 60 countries will become members of PATA Travel Mart.

“Apart from the business we also arranged two forums: the first one is travel fusion forum Asia, it is about travel technology which the tourism industry here can learn from other global speakers. Also, we have a content marketing forum which will show you how to do social media for your business,” said Spokesperson of Pacific Asia Travel Association, Puangthip Chotipantawanon.

Organizers are confident that at the PATA Travel Mart 2019 platform, tour operators from different countries will have the opportunity to establish business contacts and gain new knowledge to promote their businesses. In addition, experts said that the event will contribute to unlocking the tourism potential of both Kazakhstan and the entire Central Asian region.

According to Deputy Chairperson of National Tourism Company, Kairat Saduakasov, approximately 300 people are interested in promoting the Central Asian region. Nearly 10,000 hours of business meetings between Kazakh and foreign partners will take place here.

Experts said that international marketing is a great chance to showcase the country’s travel opportunities to the global market. It is expected that over 20 representatives of international media will cover the event.

The international exhibition has been held since 1978. More than 40,000 delegates participated in the exhibition, which took place in 44 major cities in the world.
