In Grand Cayman, a New Kind of All-Inclusive Vacation

There’s a new way to take an all-inclusive vacation one of the Caribbean’s greatest beaches, Seven Mile Beach in Grand Cayman.

The Margaritaville Beach Resort Grand Cayman has launched a new all-inclusive option, meaning travelers can stay on the heart of Seven Mile Beach, fully all-inclusive.

It’s a boost for what has in a few short years become one of Grand Cayman’s signature beach hotels, a place for barefoot fun and good-natured Caribbean escape.

Indeed, the 285-room resort is the essence of the Jimmy Buffett philosophy, from the “License to Chill” bar to the 5 o’Clock Somewhere bar and grill to a seriously impressive welcome -you guessed it -margarita.

Now, that experience comes with an everything-included ribbon, meeting a demand for all-inclusive that continues to surge in the wider travel industry, and in the Caribbean in particular.

General manager Dimitris Cosvogiannis, who heads up a new, star-powered management team at the resort property, says it’s a “unique all-inclusive program.”

Margaritaville’s all-inclusive vacation experience includes all-day activities, nightly entertainment, six different themed national buffet nights and, of course, unlimited access to food and beverage all throughout the day.

Most notably, the program will include a select menu at the property’s Eating House 1503, the eatery by celebrity chef Roy Yamaguchi that was just named one of the 50 Best Restaurants in the Caribbean.

“The Cayman Islands is one of the most unique destinations in the Caribbean, providing incredible experiences for a large market segment including breathtaking nature tours, incredible beaches, service and probably the best culinary tasting in the area,” Cosvogiannis told Caribbean Journal.

That’s part of what makes the program unique-while Grand Cayman has long been one of the most sought-after destinations in the region, its all-inclusive options have been somewhat limited -making Margaritaville the island’s top all-inclusive choice.

Margaritaville’s offering means you get the natural beauty and sophistication of Seven Mile Beach with all-inclusive convenience.

And the new program has attracted the power of Canadian travel giant Sunwing, which will next month be launching flights and packages to Grand Cayman centered around stays at Margaritaville -the first time the company has ever operated flights and acations to the Cayman Islands.

“We are very proud to partner with Sunwing and showcase both our Resort and this beautiful island,” said Cosvogiannis , who was instrumental in bringing Sunwing to the destination. “Our team of professional operators under the guidance of our illustrious VP, Darren Law, and the rest of the fabulous associates guarantee unforgettable moments.

“We are keen to explore additional opportunities with Sunwing in 2021 and beyond, including but not limited to, developing the lesser known, but equally amazing Cayman Brac and Little Cayman,” Cosvogiannis said. “We must also express our gratitude to the Cayman Islands Department of Tourism, Director Rosa Harris and Tourism Minister Moses Kirkconnell for their vision, support and guidance, all instrumental in realizing this amazing opportunity.”
