Humanitarian Aid Efforts in Niamey and Dhaka: Food Baskets Distributed
King Salman Humanitarian Aid and Relief Center provides support to vulnerable families in Niger and Bangladesh.
The King Salman Humanitarian Aid and Relief Center has distributed 600 food baskets to vulnerable families in Niamey, Niger, benefiting approximately 1,400 individuals.
This initiative is part of broader humanitarian efforts led by the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia through KSrelief, aimed at providing assistance to those in need globally.
In a parallel effort, the center has also distributed 260 food baskets to vulnerable families in the Rajshahi area of Dhaka, Bangladesh, impacting around 1,280 people across 260 families.
These distributions are part of the 2025 'Etaam' Food Basket project, which aims to deliver a total of 390,109 food baskets to support 2.3 million people in 27 countries during the month of Ramadan.
The total financial commitment for this initiative exceeds SR67 million ($17.88 million).
The ongoing distributions reflect a commitment to addressing food insecurity and enhancing the wellbeing of vulnerable populations during the holy month.
