These councils will focus on various sectors, including wholesale and retail trade, culture and entertainment, construction, health, professional services, logistics, security, digital, finance, tourism, energy, and manufacturing.

The initiative is part of Saudi Arabia's Labor Market Strategy, designed to bridge skill gaps, improve workforce productivity, and create an attractive labor market for both local and international talents.

The councils will work in collaboration with government agencies, the private sector, educational institutions, and other stakeholders to plan and develop skills at the sector level.
