Hezbollah warns Israel of full-scale war amid Lebanon border conflict, while Pope Francis calls for an independent Palestinian state for lasting peace.
Hezbollah has issued a strong warning to Israel, suggesting that a full-scale war could displace hundreds of thousands more people amid the ongoing conflict at the Lebanon border. This comes after Israeli Defense Minister Yoav Gallant announced efforts to secure Israel's northern front, following significant casualties and displacements on both sides since early October.

In related news, Pope Francis is advocating for a just and lasting solution to the Palestinian issue, emphasizing the need for an independent Palestinian state for true peace in the Middle East. He praised Jordan's King Abdullah II for his support and condemned attacks on civilian shelters in Gaza.

Meanwhile, in the UK, a British teacher named Marieha Hussain was acquitted of a racially aggravated offense for a satirical placard she carried during a pro-Palestine demonstration. The court ruled in favor of free speech, recognizing her placard as political satire, with Hussain reaffirming her commitment to activism despite personal impacts from the trial.

Moving to environmental news, the Asir region in Saudi Arabia is gaining attention as a sanctuary for migratory birds, enhancing the country’s biodiversity. The area supports a wide range of avian species, from the rare Asir magpie to the European bee-eater, thanks to its diverse habitats and favorable climate.

In the art world, Saudi artist Mohammed Al-Aameri is breaking boundaries with his exhibition "Red Line" at Kenz Gallery in Riyadh, melding cubism and fauvism with a Saudi flair. His 20 vibrant works draw on his childhood memories and international training, aiming to inspire emerging artists in Saudi Arabia.

Lastly, paving the way in the business sector is Haneen Al-Saleh, the groundbreaking managing director of Bosch’s regional headquarters in Saudi Arabia. With a decade of experience in energy and engineering, she continues to drive innovation and collaboration across multiple sectors, following her notable achievement in leading the construction of the Waad Al-Shamal solar combined cycle power plant.
