Hankook racing team achieves top spot of G2 category in Hill Climb racing

The leader of the Saudi Hankook Racing Team, Captain Saeed Al-Mouri, achieved the first place in the G2 Category during the first round of the Hill Climb Racing, within the Saudi Toyota Championship competitions held between 22 and 23 July in Al-Baha Region.
Al-Taif and Asir regions will host the next two rounds. Al-Mouri was able to reaffirm that he is the best choice after he accepted the nominations to lead and achieve the first stage of the tournament, which witnessed the participation of thirty contestants from outside and inside the Kingdom.

However, Hankook F200 tires showed outstanding performance during the racing, that took place amid difficult mountainous terrain, which increased the excitement of competing for first places.

Captain Saeed Al-Mouri expressed his happiness with this strong start in the tournament, hoping that he would continue to achieve the same level and results in the two remaining rounds in Taif and Asir, saying: "There is no doubt that the competition was strong, and all the participants were highly prepared and ready to enter the race, which was characterized by its toughness and difficulty, and I and all my colleagues enjoyed during this event the beautiful atmosphere and the breathtaking nature of Al-Baha area during the race. However, one of the objectives of such races is to introduce the natural diversity in the topography and climate that characterizes the Kingdom. Really, no enough words of appreciations can be said to the role played by the Ministry of Sports led by Prince Abdulaziz bin Turki Al-Faisal, and the Saudi Automobile and Motorcycle Federation headed by Prince Khalid bin Sultan Al-Faisal."

Al-Mouri thanked Bin Shihon Group, the exclusive distributor of Hankook tires in Saudi Arabia, for the continuous support and sponsorship he finds therefrom, and that he is proud of the long relationship he has had with it since his early beginnings in this interesting competitive sport.

On this occasion, Marwan Bin Shihon, Vice Chairman of the Board of Directors of Bin Shihon Group, the exclusive distributor of Hankook tires in Saudi Arabia, praised the Hankook racing team, headed by captain Saeed Al-Mouri, for achieving the top place of the first round of the Hill Climb Racing held within the competitions of Saudi Toyota Championship in Al-Baha Region, stressing that this excellence will be added to the distinguished achievements of the team since the start of the long partnership with captain Saeed Al-Mouri, which we look forward to strengthen it in support of car sports and the Saudi's trend towards spreading sports culture as one of the most important aspects of Vision 2030.
