Flyadeal Acquires First Fully-Owned Airbus A320neo
Saudi Arabia's low-cost airline, flyadeal, has taken delivery of its first-ever wholly-owned aircraft, an Airbus A320neo named Al Sama, marking a significant milestone. This starts flyadeal's 2024 delivery plan to add four more aircraft this year and eight in 2025. The airline's CEO Steven Greenway attended the exchange in Toulouse, France, as flyadeal now plans to expand its fleet to 50 aircraft by 2025 and 100 by 2030.

The airline's CEO Steven Greenway, along with maintenance and engineering director Ahmed Bakadam and senior manager Ali Al-Zahrani, attended the official exchange in Toulouse, France.
Flyadeal's fleet now includes 33 aircraft, with plans to expand to 50 by the end of 2025 and double that to 100 by 2030.
In October, flyadeal placed its largest order ever for 51 Airbus A320 family aircraft.
