Families of Conjoined Twins Attend Hajj as Guests of King Salman
The Ministry of Islamic Affairs welcomed the families of conjoined twins, here to perform Hajj as guests of King Salman. Extensive arrangements have been made for their comfort. King Salman is hosting 3322 pilgrims from 88 countries, including families of separated twins and Palestinian pilgrims.
The Ministry of Islamic Affairs, Call and Guidance welcomed the families of conjoined twins on Tuesday, who have come to perform Hajj as guests of Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques King Salman.
These twins underwent separation surgeries under the Saudi Conjoined Twins Program.
Extensive preparations have been made for their comfort.
King Salman is hosting 3322 pilgrims from 88 countries this year, including 22 from the families of separated twins and 2000 Palestinian pilgrims from Gaza and other occupied territories.
This hosting initiative is part of the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques' Guests Program, managed by the Ministry of Islamic Affairs, Call and Guidance.
The families expressed gratitude to King Salman and Crown Prince Mohammed bin Salman for their continuous support, covering surgical expenses, and provision of top-notch healthcare.
The Saudi conjoined twins program, inaugurated in 1990, symbolizes the Kingdom’s medical prowess and humanitarian endeavors.
