Prince of Qassim Receives Report on Al-Fawara Center Wheat Festival
His Royal Highness Prince Dr. Faisal bin Mashaal bin Saud bin Abdulaziz, the Prince of the Qassim Region, received the report on the Wheat Festival held at Al-Fawara Center for the year 1444 AH.
The report came during a meeting in his office in the city of Buraidah, where he was joined by the General Director of the Ministry of Environment, Water and Agriculture in the Qassim region, Engineer Salman Al-Sowayn, the Head of Al-Fawara Center, Abdullah bin Nahit, and the Chairman of the Board of the Cooperative Association at Al-Fawara Center, Sulaiman Al-Harbi.
Prince Dr. Faisal praised the achievements of the Al-Fawara Center Wheat Festival which reflects the center's comparative advantage in wheat production in terms of abundance and high quality. This event also represents one of the facets of food security support programs. He aspired for the continuous development of this product, meeting expectations that contribute to supporting and enhancing the wheat crop in Al-Fawara Center. His Highness valued everyone's efforts in making the festival a success.
His Highness listened to a brief explanation from the regional director of the Ministry of Environment, Water and Agriculture about the efforts that contributed to the success of the Wheat Festival at Al-Fawara Center. The festival lasted 18 days and attracted 36,000 visitors, with numerous farmers and interested parties participating, as well as the involvement of productive families.
