Exit and re-entry visas cancelation fee is non-refundable

People who cancel the exit and re-entry visas cannot get a refund of the fees they have paid, The General Directorate of Passports (Jawazat) confirmed.
The Jawazat said that it is also not possible to amend the exit and re-entry visas by the beneficiary, but can only be canceled through the employer's Absher platform.

Exit and re-entry visas fees cannot be refunded in the event of its cancellation, even if the beneficiary has reissued the same visa, the Jawazat confirmed.

It is noteworthy that the Jawazat had announced earlier that the workers' final-exit visas cannot be canceled during their probationary period.

The Jawazat reiterated that it is not allowed to convert visit visas into residency permits (iqama).

Residents can travel outside the Kingdom by having a valid visa, in addition to having a valid travel document, as well as the importance of adhering to the entry conditions required by the country to which they will travel to.

Also, Saudi Arabia has allowed residents to enter the Kingdom regardless of their immunization status.

It is required to have insurance to come to the Kingdom on all kinds of visit visas to cover the costs of treatment in the event a person gets infected with the coronavirus, which includes a visit visa for Umrah and tourism, during the visitor’s stay within Saudi Arabia, when the visa is extended, or upon exit and multiple-entry.
