King Fahd Mosque in Al-Malaz, Riyadh, Ready for Ramadan Prayers after Restoration and Maintenance

The King Fahd Charitable Foundation, in collaboration with the General Authority of Islamic Affairs & Endowments, has announced the completion of King Fahd bin Abdulaziz Mosque's (may God have mercy on him) restoration and maintenance.
The mosque is now ready for prayers during the holy month of Ramadan this year. The comprehensive maintenance and restoration project encompassed the complete refurbishment of the building and the renewal of its facilities and furnishings.

Located on Salahuddin Street (also known as Sixtieth Street) in the Al-Malaz district of Riyadh, the King Fahd Mosque was built at the expense of King Fahd bin Abdulaziz (may God have mercy on him) in the year 1414 AH. The mosque covers an area of 9,750 square meters and accommodates two thousand male worshippers, and includes a separate prayer area for women. The mosque also features a surrounding arcade on all four sides, as well as residences for the Imam and the Muezzin.

The project's execution came as per the directives of His Royal Highness Prince Mohammed bin Fahd bin Abdulaziz (may God protect him), the Deputy Chairman of the Board of Trustees of the King Fahd Charitable Foundation, to utilize the endowments affiliated with the mosque for its restoration and maintenance.
