Strategic Partnership Launches "Hudhud" Digital Mapping App in Saudi Arabia

In an ambitious move reflecting its commitment to supporting local technologies and bolstering the geo-spatial infrastructure, the General Authority for Survey and Geo-Spatial Information (GASGI) and the National Program for the Development of Information Technology (NTDP) have signed a cooperation agreement with Hudhud Digital Maps.
Announced at the “LEAP 24” conference, this partnership signifies a quantum leap in the field of geo-spatial services in the Kingdom, aiming to launch an advanced digital mapping service that facilitates efficient and effective navigation and communication for users through the Hudhud app.

Strategic Partnership and Its Objectives

This agreement serves as a testament to the commitment of the relevant entities to stimulate innovation and support emerging national companies, with a focus on developing technological infrastructure in the Kingdom. Dr. Engineer Mohammed bin Yahya Al-Sail, President of GASGI, Ibrahim Niaz, CEO of NTDP, and Faisal Al-Humaidi, CEO of Hudhud Digital Maps, represented the signing parties of the agreement.

The new mapping service offers a wide array of features and advanced capabilities, including:
