This year's ESC23 theme, "Upskilling is the Future of Education," brings together industry experts, leading academics, policymakers, and stakeholders across the education industry to examine best practices in developing high-value skills and how these can be integrated into current educational models. Attendees will have a chance to learn from hands-on experts through panel discussions and workshops. This is an excellent opportunity for professionals in the education sector to connect with like-minded individuals and gain valuable insights.

Upskilling is an essential part of the education sector in today's world and will be even more critical in the future. With Saudi Arabia's Vision 2030, upskilling has become a priority to develop high-value skills to help create a knowledge economy and ensure the country's competitiveness in the global market.

“At ESC23, we aim to empower educators with knowledge on how to develop high-value skills that can be used across different disciplines,” said Emkan Education CEO Basma Bushnak. “We believe that it’s essential for educators to have access to the latest tools and techniques to create dynamic learning experiences for students.”

The ESC23 conference will feature keynote speakers from renowned organizations such as Cambridge Assessment International Education (CAIE) and Harvard MEPLI Middle East Professional Learning Institute - Harvard University. Presentations will cover topics such as skills-based curriculum design, global competencies, education in the Metaverse, and more. There will also be special sessions dedicated to understanding the changing needs of local learners and how educators can use this information to their advantage.
