Erdogan welcomes Shoura speaker; praises wise Saudi leadership
President Recep Tayyip Erdogan of the Republic of Turkiye received here Monday Speaker of the Shoura Council Sheikh Dr. Abdullah Bin Mohammed Bin Ibrahim Al-Sheikh, in the presence of Speaker of the Grand National Assembly of Turkiye Mustafa Sentop.
The Turkish president welcomed the speaker of the Shoura Council, stressing the depth of relations between the two countries, and looking forward to increasing the efforts to develop and strengthen them in various fields.
The president of Turkiye sent his greetings to the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques King Salman and the Crown Prince, and expressed his wishes of further development, progress and prosperity to the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia and its people under the wise Saudi leadership.
For his part, Dr. Al-Sheikh reaffirmed the keenness of the Shoura Council and the Grand National Assembly of Turkiye to strengthen the bonds that bind the two brotherly countries and to elevate parliamentary relations to new horizons.
During the meeting, they discussed a number of issues of common interest between the two countries, in various fields, in a way that contributes to achieving their common interests.
