Emir Prince Salman bin Sultan Arrives in Madinah to Begin His Duties
Prince Salman bin Sultan arrived in Madinah on Sunday to begin his tenure as the regional emir. He had already sworn in before King Salman, the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques, earlier that week.
He was welcomed by Prince Faisal bin Salman, a key advisor, Prince Saud bin Khalid Al-Faisal, the deputy emir, along with high-ranking officials from both civilian and military sectors.
Feeling honored by the trust placed in him, Prince Salman expressed his commitment to realizing the leadership's vision, especially during the city's current period of growth across various sectors.
Prince Salman then visited the Prophet’s Mosque, where he prayed at Al-Rawdah Al-Sharif and was greeted by Dr. Abdulrahman Al-Sudais and Dr. Muhammad Al-Khudairi, among other religious and local authorities.
