Dr. Al-Rabiah: All restrictions lifted to facilitate arrival of Egyptian Umrah pilgrims

Minister of Hajj and Umrah Dr. Tawfiq Bin Fawzan Al-Rabiah announced the lifting of all health restrictions for Egyptian Umrah pilgrims, upon the directives of the government of Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques King Salman.
This decision was taken within the framework of the facilities provided by the Kingdom to facilitate the procedures to perform Umrah and pray at the Holy Rawdah at the Prophet’s Mosque in Madinah for those coming from around the world.

Dr. Al-Rabiah made this announcement during a press conference held Monday at the Kingdom's embassy in Cairo, in the presence of the Saudi Ambassador to Egypt Osama Bin Ahmed Nuqali, and senior officials from the Ministry of Hajj and Umrah and the embassy.

During the conference, Dr. Al-Rabiah expressed his appreciation for the warm welcome and reception he and his accompanying delegation received here.

He cited the distinguished relations between the two countries, under the leadership of Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques King Salman, the Crown Prince, and the Egyptian President Abdel-Fattah El-Sisi.

The minister touched on the development of electronic services provided by the "nusuk.sa" platform to facilitate obtaining Umrah and visit visas around the clock, and to book all services (transportation, housing, and other services) through smart devices to facilitate access to the Two Holy Mosques, including the automation of all travel procedures and reservations for services.

Dr. Al-Rabiah also spoke about the rapid developments witnessed by the Two Holy Mosques and the Holy Sites in the infrastructure and organization to receive the expected increases in the number of pilgrims and visitors, and to provide the best facilities and services to the pilgrims and visitors of the Two Holy Mosques.
