Diriyah Season 2022 coming back this October with major sports tournaments

Diriyah Season 2022 is coming back this October with a full agenda to hold several international sports tournaments and diversified entertainment events at the historical Diriyah.
The second edition of Diriyah Season is scheduled to kick off on Oct. 20, 2022, until Feb. 22, 2023.

The Diriyah Season 2022 is back with an inauguration ceremony that will include announcing a pack of tournaments and events that target visitors of various age groups over four consecutive months.

The Chairman of the Diriyah Season Committee Prince Abdulaziz Bin Turki Al-Faisal said: “We are happy for the approach of the opening of the Diriyah Season 2022 in the historical city that enjoys a big history and prestigious heritage and geographical status for its being listed on the UNESCO World Heritage Centre.”

“The big successes of events and sports in Diriyah, through hosting Formula E and World Heavyweight Championship, in addition to hosting the first edition of the Diriyah Season, are considered a motive to organize the second season, which makes me call on all audience from the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia and abroad to participate in this season and enjoy the events it offers.”

CEO of Diriyah Gate Development Authority Jerry Inzerillo said that Diriyah is a proper location to host all regional and international occasions in all fields, saying: “We are excited to see big numbers of visitors flocking from across the world to see the new season, and we look forward to satisfy their passion with exciting sports and entertaining experiences.”

Diriyah Season 2022 seeks to realize development and economic targets of Saudi Vision 2030 through developing the events sector in the entertainment, sports, tourists and cultural fields, in addition to providing attractive events that enhance the prosperity of the national economy and vitality of the society.
