DGA launches ‘Digital Saudi’ pavilion in conjunction with LEAP conference

About 30 government agencies in Saudi Arabia will be participating in "Digital Saudi" which is organized by Digital Government Authority within LEAP Conference, the global technical event which will be held in Riyadh, during the period from Feb. 1 to 3, 2022.
LEAP is organized by the Ministry of Communications and Information Technology (MCIT), to introduce the global, regional and local audience to the success stories of Saudi Arabia’s digital transformation journey, and to present the government digital services that aim to raise the quality of life and competitiveness to individuals and businesses.

Digital Government Authority in a press release confirmed that the exhibition aims to review the Kingdom's successes in the digital government in line with the rapid developments in information technology with the participation of the most prominent experiences, numbers and services of digital government platforms.

The event will see international participation from the Republic of Estonia and the Sultanate of Oman, pointing out that "Digital Saudi Arabia" will witness the signing of strategic agreements and launches of 15 new digital government products and services for more than 30 government agencies.

This is in addition to the Digital Government Authority, with leading technology companies, to accelerate digital transformation and leveraging efficiency. The government participation includes reviewing the services of about 15 of the whole government platforms and 10 products based on innovative models using emerging technologies.

Vice Governor of Marketing and Communications in DGA and general supervisor of Digital Saudi Nawaf Al-Musrea pointed out that the "Digital Saudi Arabia" exhibition comes as part of the authority's efforts to govern and develop digital government services under the highest international standards and practices.

This is in order to enable the government and private sectors to work in an integrated manner, and to provide proactive digital government services, initiative and highly efficient.

Also it would boost stimulating the adoption of the latest technologies in the field of digital transformation, which enriches those interested in the digital sector, achieves the satisfaction of the beneficiaries, and enhances the Kingdom's leading digital position regionally and globally, in accordance with the objectives of the Kingdom's Vision 2030.
