The deputy director of the Micro, Small and Medium Enterprise Authority ( Ampyme ), Arturo Arango, was injured during an attempted assault on Friday night.

Through a video that circulated this Saturday on social networks, Arango expresses that he was a victim of this attempted assault and that he was fine.

The deputy commissioner of the National Police, Jorge Domínguez, reported that after receiving the citizen alert about the criminal act in the Santa Elena sector , they proceeded to the area where they helped the victim, who was injured with a blunt object on the forehead.

He adds that in addition, evidence of the case was recovered at the scene.

On the other hand, Domínguez added that in addition, in the Ampyme facilities, located in Via Israel, the police units proceeded to collect information on an alleged robbery, and that together with the Public Ministry they will carry out investigations into this fact.
