Crown Prince to attend King' Cup final on Thursday

Under the patronage of the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques King Salman, the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques' Cup final 2021-2022 will take place next Thursday (May 19) between Al-Hilal and Al-Fayha teams at King Abdullah Sports City Stadium in Jeddah.
Crown Prince Mohammed Bin Salman, deputy prime minister, will attend the match, deputizing for the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques, to crown the winning team and honor the second-place winner with the silver medals.

On this occasion, Minister of Sports Prince Abdulaziz Bin Turki Al-Faisal expressed his sincere appreciation to the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques, for his generous patronage of this occasion, and to the Crown Prince for his attendance and honoring of this great sporting event.

He added that this reflects an evident embodiment of the leadership’s interest in sports and athletes, and their constant keenness to support and empower the sector.

The sports minister said: "The huge leaps we are experiencing in sports, would not have been achieved without the generous support that tackled the needs of the nation's sports sector, and we will move forward to achieve aspirations, through the implementation of comprehensive programs and initiatives emanating from the Kingdom's Vision 2030, towards promising future.”

Prince Abdulaziz congratulated the Al-Hilal and Al-Fayha teams on reaching the finals of the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques' Cup, wishing them success and hoping they would present a distinguished performance that reflects the evolving reality of Saudi football, which has become the focus of attention of sports fans at home and abroad.
