Tadawul Index Drops for Second Consecutive Day Amidst Market Fluctuations
The Tadawul All Share Index (TASI) of Saudi Arabia fell for the second consecutive day, dropping 0.35% to close at 11,236.27 points.
The Nomu parallel market index gained 132.33 points and closed at 20,966.97.
The MSCI Tadawul Index fell 0.32% to 1,505.16 points.
The total trading turnover of the benchmark index was SR5.68 billion ($1.51 billion).
Allied Cooperative Insurance Group was the top performer with a 7.24% increase in share price to SR16.60.
Malath Cooperative Insurance Co. and Al-Rajhi Company for Cooperative Insurance also gained 3.92% and 3.48%, respectively.
Anaam International Holding Group had the worst performance, with a 5.98% decrease in share price to SR25.95.
Fawaz Abdulaziz Alhokair Co. and Thimar Development Holding Co. were the other losers, with a 5.15% and 4.92% decrease in share price, respectively.
Future Care Trading Co., listed on the parallel market under the healthcare sector, had the highest increase in share price, rising 13.73% to SR1,298.80.
Meyar Co., a brick manufacturing company, reported a slight increase in its net profit for 2022 to SR4.46 million, compared to SR4.45 million in 2021.
