Cabinet approves heads of government posts

Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of State for Cabinet Affairs Barak Al-Shoitan announced that the Cabinet approved, in its weekly meeting chaired by His Highness Sheikh Ahmed Nawaf Al-Ahmad Al-Sabah, Prime Minister at Seif Palace Monday, decrees appointing leaders in ministries and departments and government agencies.
Minister Al-Shoitan told Kuwait News Agency (KUNA) that the Cabinet approved two decrees appointing “Retired Lieutenant- General Sheikh Faisal Nawaf Al-Ahmad Al-Jaber Al-Sabah as Deputy Chief of the National Guard with the rank of minister, and Youssef Ibrahim Al-Mazrouei as Undersecretary of the Audit Bureau.” He added that the Council of Ministers approved a decree appointing “Abeer Abdul Latif Abdul Wahab Al-Faris, Ibrahim Ali Moaid Al-Hajri and NargesYahya Abdul- Rasoul Hassan, with the rank of Assistant Undersecretary at the Civil Service Commission.”

He stated that the Council of Ministers approved a decree appointing Youssef Abdullah Muhammad Al-Baydan as Director General of the General Sports Authority with the rank of Undersecretary. He explained that the Council of Ministers approved a decree appointing “TalalEidSorour Al-Otaibi, Faisal Nasser Al-Yateem, Bashar Abdullah Al-Salem and Hamid Ali Hassan Al-Hazeem as deputies to the Director General of the General Sports Authority with the rank of Assistant Undersecretary.”

And he indicated that the Cabinet approved a decree appointing “Fatima Saud Abdulaziz Al-Salem as Director General of Kuwait News Agency (KUNA) with the rank of Undersecretary.” He stated that the Council of Ministers approved decrees appointing Kefaya Muhammad Ibrahim Al- Najdi and EidMalihMahal Al-Rashidi with the rank of Assistant Undersecretary in the Ministry of Public Works, Ammar Abdullah Muhammad Al-Najem as Sector Head in the Government Performance Follow-up Agency at the rank of Assistant Undersecretary and Dr. BarjasFaleh Muhammad Al-Hajri as Assistant Director General of the Authority Public Investment Promotion Department with the rank of Assistant Undersecretary.

He added that the Council of Ministers approved a decree appointing Turki Abdullah Al-Mutairi and Salem Fahd Al-Watyan with the rank of Assistant Undersecretary in the Ministry of Information. He said that the Council of Ministers approved a decree appointing “Aisha Adnan al-Mahmoud, Muhammad Khalid al-Jassar, Sultan Muhya al-Dihani, SihamSaad al-Azmi and Musaed Muhammad al-Zamil as assistant general secretaries in the National Council for Culture, Arts and Letters, with the rank of assistant undersecretary.” Minister Al-Shoitan stated that the Council of Ministers decided to raise the decrees to His Highness the Amir Sheikh Nawaf Al-Ahmad Al-Jaber Al-Sabah, may God protect him.
