Beachfront Bahamian Haven on a Lush Private Island

Beachfront Bahamian Haven on a Lush Private Island

The one of a kind Allamanda is a coastal sanctuary, offering access to the chic and secluded resort island, Kamalame Cay.

Elevated on stilts 14 feet above sea level, Allamanda was custom designed to maximize sweeping ocean views and eco-friendly breezes. From each area of the 3,175 square foot two-bedroom, three-bathroom home, visitors are oriented to take in the ocean's beauty. The home's expansive covered porch provides a year-round gathering space to enjoy the property's focal point, 150 feet of beachfront.

Allamanda's 1,800 square foot covered porch grants fluid indoor/outdoor living and the perfect location to soak in the sounds of the water.

Multipurpose, the porch provides distinct vignettes for dining, socializing, and individual lounging. At the center lies the dining table, inviting luxe family meals and group gatherings.

The outdoor living room supplies harbor during long days spent in the sun, with ceiling fans enhancing natural ocean breezes. As the sun sets, seamlessly transition into cocktail hour with unparalleled views.

Neutral metals, woods, and upholstery bring various textures to the porch and uplift the surrounding flora. Here, hanging rattan chairs undulate, mirroring their natural setting.

Inside, Allamanda is customized with character and thought. The two bedrooms are located at opposite sides of the space, providing a sense of seclusion and privacy. Offered fully furnished, the home utilizes a design language fit for its environment. Open spaces, complex textures, light neutrals, and shorefront utility complement the island's powerful oceanic presence.

Wake up to the sun rising over crystalline waters from the luxury of your bed. The master bedroom's expansive windows and intricate beamed ceiling create a sense of openness that honors the ocean's gravitas.

Each bathroom is fit with Carrera marble vanity tops set against wood and geometric tile, as seen here in the master.

The second bedroom provides guests a calming refuge after active island days. With windows in every room, the beach is never far away.

Echoing the master bathroom, the guest bathroom utilizes aquatic blue geometric tiles, marble, and wood.

Built in 2020, Allamanda is fit with state of the art appliances, finishes, and security systems. These elevated touches include an oil-rubbed bronze door, window hardware with a five-point locking system, and 8-feet-high hurricane impact doors. Ceramic flooring, finished with a high-end wood look, offers cooling and easy maintenance.

The kitchen leaves no detail overlooked. All-wood kitchen cabinets elegantly contrast deep quartz countertops and Fulgor stainless steel appliances.

Lounge in the spacious living room with doors to the beach ajar.

An outdoor shower outside of the third bathroom prevents sand from tracking into the house and allows for the simultaneous sensation of warm water and cool breezes.

Step outside of the residence onto the sands of 96-acre resort island Kamalame Cay. Located off the coast of Andros Island, the cay is just one mile from the third largest barrier reef in the world. A lauded and sought-after destination, Kamalame Cay is notable for its turquoise waters and unique Boho-chic aesthetic. Residents of Kamalame Cay enjoy access to the famous resort’s concierge services and luxury activities including culinary experiences, wine-paired dining, and dancing extravaganzas that enliven the resort one Saturday every month from October through May.

The exclusive Kamalame Cay gifts unmatched bliss alongside world-class diving, snorkeling, kayaking, fishing, and dining.
