Al-Jouf Emir receives UN resident coordinator in Saudi Arabia
Al-Jouf Emir Prince Faisal Bin Nawaf received on Tuesday, Natalie Fustier, UN resident coordinator in the Kingdom and her accompanying delegation.
During the meeting, they discussed a number of issues of common interest.
Fustier is scheduled to visit several historical sites in the region and will meet Al-Jouf university officials.
There are currently 21 UN agencies, funds and programs working with Saudi Arabia, including regional offices, and the Kingdom is a major contributor to the UN’s development assistance.
Meanwhile, President of Al-Jouf University Dr. Mohammed Bin Abdullah Al-Shaya received Tuesday the UN Resident Coordinator in Saudi Arabia Ambassador Fustier and the accompanying delegation.
During the visit, Fustier was briefed on the university's most prominent achievements, including the university's experience in achieving a number of the United Nations sustainable development goals, which contributed to the university's achievement of an advanced position in the Times World University Impact Ranking.
